Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, Amir Muqam, has categorically stated that the Kashmir cause remains the foremost priority of the government, underscoring the nation’s unwavering commitment to this pressing issue. He emphatically declared that the nation stands united and firmly behind the oppressed Kashmiri brethren, reiterating Pakistan’s unshakeable resolve to support their rightful struggle.
Federal Minister for Kashmir and GB Affairs, Amir Muqam, addressed a press conference at the Press Information Department in Islamabad on Tuesday, where he declared that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attempts to oppress the Kashmiri people have been unsuccessful. Minister Muqam cited the recent elections, won by a Muslim majority party, as evidence of the Kashmiri people’s resilience and resistance to oppression.
“This development underscores the ongoing tensions and complexities surrounding the Kashmir region, a longstanding point of contention between India and Pakistan,” Mr Muqam said.

Flanked by the Huriat conference leades, Ghulam Mohammad Sanfi, Mr Muqam said they had planned a massive rally in the Islamabad to mark the Kashmir day in solidarity with Kashmeri brethren on February 5, tomorrow.
He further emphasized that events would be held across the country, particularly in the provincial capitals where Pakistani communities would express their solidarity with Kashmiri brethren who had been oppressed by the Indian government.
Mr Muqam said the Indian Army continued to violate the human rights in Indian occupied Kashmir and aggression against its people which had made the Muslim majority Kashmir life difficult.
Replying to a question, Amir Muqam said the government would probably devise a strategy to form a community with the Muslim majority countries to support Pakistan in this longstanding issue and take it towards resolution for easing life of the Kashmir residents in IOK.
He said rallies and events would also be held in the embassies of Pakistan in foreign countries as a solidarity day being observed by Pakistan.
Huriat conference leader, Ghulam Mohammad Sanfi said they would hold an event on 6th February as Tashakur day to thank Pakistan for solidarity with them besides participating in the events tomorrow to amplify voices against the India aggression in Kashmir.
